Kidneys: Omega 3 fatty acids are known to increase the circulatory amount of Endothelium-Derived Relaxing Factor (EDRF), thus encouraging vasodilation and decreasing blood pressure. 1
Heart: Omega 3 fatty acids are known to improve the blood lipid and lipoprotein profile, thus reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. 2
Brain: Omega 3 fatty acids are known to improve synaptic membrane fluidity, thus encouraging smooth transmission of neuronal waves, counteracting brain atrophy and cognitive decline. 3
Skin and joints: EPA and DHA are known to downregulate the inflammatory COX2 and LOX pathways, thus reducing inflammation in joints affected by osteoarthritis, as well as inflammatory skin disorders. 5

Start administration at 1/4 the recommended dose, gradually increasing the amount over 5 to 7 days.
The daily dose can be divided into two doses.
