BIO

Jen graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2003 and spent 16 years as a Registered Veterinary Technologist at a number of clinics throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Washington State. She joined the Aventix team in January 2020 and is excited to bring her clinical experience with her as she pursues a new career challenge. Her understanding of the Veterinary industry will help her provide clients with the support they need and have come to expect from Aventix. Jen shares her home with her husband, two children, their cat Lola and their labradoodle Gunnar. Together they enjoy everything the Okanagan has to offer; spending time outdoors, water sports in the summer and skiing in the winter.

BIO

Tammy graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with Honours in 1988, which led to extensive years of small animal experience as a Registered Animal Health Technologist. She also earned an Honours certificate as a Medical Clinical Assistant and is a Certified Sales Professional with Distinction. Tammy started her career with Aventix in 2007 and is passionate about animal welfare.

Her serene country lifestyle is shared with her loving husband, four horses, one donkey, three cats, two dogs and eight goldfish. She competes in Reining throughout North America.

BIO

Eve graduated from Olds College with Honors and Distinction in 2003. After dedicating 10 years to companion animal practice, she joined Aventix in 2012. Eve is passionate about animal health and is dedicated to supporting the veterinary community in Calgary and Southern Alberta. In her spare time, Eve enjoys stand-up paddle boarding and likes to travel.

BIO

Wanda Kopec is a Veterinary Technician from Stonewall, Manitoba.

She worked in clinic until 1999, taking a sales role in the veterinary industry including Waltham Veterinary Diets, Medi-Cal/Royal Canin Veterinary Diets and most recently Rayne Clinical Nutrition. She enjoys archery, painting, felting and performing in her local choir dinner theatre. Her household barely contains one husband, two teenagers, five cats, five rabbits and two vizslas.

After graduating from Ridgetown College in 1999, Angela worked in both small and mixed animal practices for almost nine years as a Registered Veterinary Technician and an office manager before joining Aventix.

Angela shares her home with her son, daughter, and many pets. She is a hobby beekeeper and enjoys spending time with her family outdoors.

BIO

Joanna joined Aventix in January of 2011 to manage the GTA territory following a varied employment background in human orthopedics and prosthetics. Her current territory extends from the centre of Toronto, east to Colborne and north to Dryden, Ontario.

Working with Aventix has fulfilled a major professional and personal dream of being able to continually expand her knowledge base on a broad range of animal health issues. Combining that with visiting veterinary clinics every day has been an amazing educational opportunity.

Joanna shares her home with her dogs Stella (a mixed breed from Ecuador) & Chessie, and her cats Mindy & Jaegger who make EVERY day a joy, a mystery and a challenge. Joanna loves hiking with her dogs, playing sports, running and spending time at the cottage.

Kim graduated from Vanier College in Montreal, Quebec from the Animal Health Technology Program in 2011. Having previously worked for over 10 years as both an Animal Health Technician and Client Services Manager, Kim brings her skills, passion and love of the field with her to Aventix. Kim also shares her home with 3 cats and lovable dog, Denver, the Rhodesian Ridgeback.


BIO

Annick worked as an Animal Health Technician for 25 years. She has been a clinic manager and has accumulated extensive experience in customer service. She joins Aventix to continue supporting the veterinary field.

Annick is passionate about horses and horseback riding. She shares her life with Yury, a small Boston Terrier from a shelter, Belinda, a Donskoy (Sphynx), and Bubu, her ginger cat (rescued from the clinic where she worked).
